    The client we're representing is looking for a Pipeline Integrity Engineer, who will report to the Senior Manager of the Pipeline Operations team and collaborate with other Operations/Project teams. The role entails overseeing the execution and performance of pipeline integrity plans. This role is located in Houston, TX.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management Manual and associated programs across all transmission pipeline assets.
    • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed pipeline integrity plans aligned with the manual and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain historical pipeline integrity data for transmission pipeline assets, conducting data analysis and investigations to identify issues and opportunities.
    • Support development, execution, and refinement of pipeline major service plans for all transmission pipeline assets, ensuring alignment with regulatory codes.
    • Assist in regulatory compliance of transmission pipeline assets, including site audits and support for regulatory visits.
    • Develop and execute an assurance program for pipeline integrity to provide feedback to asset owners, optimizing integrity plans and maintenance programs.
    • Prepare recurring formal transmission pipeline integrity reports for management and provide regular briefings to asset owners.
    • Propose and implement mitigation plans for transmission pipeline assets as needed.
    • Support upstream gas suppliers with non-standard operational activity and major maintenance planning.
    • Establish and maintain technical interfaces with facilities and projects for transmission pipeline integrity management.
    • Develop SOPs and procedures to ensure uniform application of best practices across all transmission pipeline assets.
    • Provide subject matter guidance for Pipeline Operations field team as necessary.
    • Support development and refinement of transmission pipeline OPEX budgets for pipeline integrity items.
    • Define required Operator Qualifications (OQs) and training for personnel working on transmission pipeline integrity activities.
    • Identify continuous improvement opportunities related to transmission pipeline integrity program/manual.
    • Participate in asset decision-making by producing metrics-based risk analysis related to transmission pipeline integrity.
    • Review and comment on Engineering deliverables, plans, and procedures related to transmission pipeline integrity.
    • Support pipeline operations work related to LA811/TX811 one-call programs as a transmission pipeline integrity SME.
    • Willingness to travel regularly to transmission pipeline locations in Louisiana and east Texas region.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability for team building.
    • TWIC card or ability to obtain.
    • Strong specialization in pipeline integrity roles in the natural gas transmission pipeline industry.
    • 5 or more years of experience in natural gas pipeline industry with demonstrable project management experience.
    • Intimate knowledge of 49 CFR 191 & 192 with understanding of 49 CFR 193 as a plus.
    • Familiarity with gas compression technology is beneficial.
    • PMP certification preferred.
    • Knowledge of engineering design standards, industry codes, and regulations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong commitment to HSSE and demonstrated HSSE leadership skills.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured in LA and TX.
    • Physical capability to perform job duties in varied environments typical to transmission pipeline locations.
