    Milton Hershey School offers a unique opportunity for married couples to become flex houseparents.

    Responsibilities

    • Reside on-campus in a student home and provide guidance and nurturing to a group of approximately 8-12 students.
    • Drive students, administer medication, manage budgets, and maintain a consistent family-like structure.

    Benefits

    Qualifications

    • Experience working or volunteering with youth from underserved backgrounds is preferred.
    • A minimum of two years of legal marriage and both partners aged 27 or older.
    • Limited to three dependent children residing in the student home.
    • A commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free environment with no alcohol consumption while on duty.
    • Pet restrictions allow only fish and one dog of approved breeds.
    • A valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
    • Comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
    • A high school diploma or GED required.
    • The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Demonstrated integrity as role models for students.
    • Both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
