Position Overview:
The Greene School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, and a commitment to student success. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive science curriculum that engages students and fosters a love of learning.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous science lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards and objectives.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
3. Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning and facilitate inquiry-based investigations.
5. Assess student progress regularly using a variety of assessment tools and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
6. Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students and support academic growth.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that integrate science with other subjects.
8. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support student achievement.
9. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in science education.
10. Contribute to the school community through participation in extracurricular activities, committees, and school events.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license in Science (Middle Grades or Secondary level)
- Prior teaching experience in a middle school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of middle school science content and pedagogy
- Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans and instructional materials
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction
