Job Description

Gather and define electrical virtual requirements of Virtual Electronic Control Units (VECUs) for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) 2.0-based architecture and simulation of VECUs.

Migrate design from Vehicle Intelligent Platform (VIP) based on Classic and Adaptive Automotive Open System Architecture Classic to SDV architecture.

Specify, maintain, and update ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle Compute Control Unit Farm, Microprocessor Control Unit Farm, Input Output Extenders, Cartridges, and Aggregators packaging locations (mass, weight, durability, brackets, fasteners, connectors (headers/wiring harnesses) interface specifications; ECU diagnostics (Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Parameter

Identifiers (PIDs), Control Parameter Identifiers (CPIDs), Routine Identifiers (RIDs)) and serviceability; and sealing requirements (water and dust intrusion) according to International Electrotechnical Commission International Protection Code, using Tortoise Git, Jira, Jira Align, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), IBM Rational Rhapsody, IBM Rational DOORS, and BigLever Gears tools, following Scaled Agile Framework.

Additional Job Description

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, Technical Specialist or Lead, Diagnostics Architect, or related role.

Must also have experience with:

modeling or updating diagnostic objects including Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and Routine Identifiers (RIDs) in IBM Rational Rhapsody or related.
