- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and other low-voltage solutions.
- Develop practices and mentor entry-level technicians in the growth of their knowledge, skills, and overall career development.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute installations, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
- Meet with clients and perform site walk-throughs to ensure client needs are met, while developing a positive relationship.
- Provide training to clients on system software usage on PC, MAC, and mobile devices.
- Handle the setup, configuration, and integration of surveillance cameras, recording devices, network infrastructure, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions during installation and post-installation phases.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and tools necessary for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all job sites.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and repairs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance your technical expertise.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in installing and maintaining CCTV systems and low-voltage equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- In-depth knowledge of networking principles and IP configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with team members and clients.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
- Commitment to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass criminal background check.
