    Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (School Health Setting)
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide comprehensive healthcare services in a school setting, focusing on vaccinations and screening assessments for hearing, vision, BMI, and scoliosis.
    • Administer vaccinations according to established protocols and ensure compliance with state regulations.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of students' health status, utilizing strong assessment skills to identify potential issues or concerns.
    • Perform screening assessments for hearing, vision, BMI, and scoliosis, accurately documenting findings and communicating results to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately and efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
    • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote student health and well-being.
    Desired Skills:
    • Proficiency in immunizations, with the ability to administer vaccinations safely and effectively.
    • Strong assessment skills to evaluate students' health status and identify potential health issues.
    • Experience with electronic health record systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
    Mandatory Skills/Certifications:
    • Valid LPN licensure in the state of Florida.
    Knowledge, Skills, Education, and/or Experience:
    • Previous experience in school health settings is preferred.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desired.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
