    With this in mind, we have created a position for a Business Process Optimization Manager, Advisory Services to work with leaders and associates across our Advisory services practice, Global Shared Services (GSS), IT, and Transformation organizations and lead teams in developing optimization changes to our organization's business offerings and processes that improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Our goal is to leverage this work to simplify and, in some cases, automate processes that reduce manual effort, improve consistency and reduce cost. In addition, with the firm's acquisition of Advisory firms, this position will lead Advisory workstreams to integrate acquired personnel, data, and business processes/practices to minimize the time and impact. This position has the flexibility to sit in multiple offices throughout our footprint on the East Coast or to worked remotely within the Eastern time zone.     As a Business Process Optimization Manager, you will:

  • Plan, lead, and execute business process optimization engagements providing guidance and oversite of the in-depth analysis of existing workflows, utilizing flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement to drive the discussion and document outcomes and next steps
  • Provide thought leadership for solutions to business problems which may leverage current or future defined technical or efficiently applied manual business solutions, creating process maps and flow charts for client processes and value streams and/or producing and presenting written assessments in narrative and/or slide deck formats
  • Engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs
  • Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions
  • Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption
  • Plan, lead and execute integration activities associated with the acquisition of Advisory focused firms and practices utilizing project management best practices, effective stakeholder communications, troubleshooting issues with data integration, designing new workflows/processes, etc.
  • What you bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related business discipline related
  • Minimum + years of demonstrated experience documenting/reengineering business processes, preferably within a CPA or related Advisory firm
  • Experience using industry standard process mapping and/or collaboration tools such as Visio, Lucid Chart, Mural, or other
  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Natural desire to understand, evaluate and enhance key business processes with a solution-driven mindset, critical thinking skills and tactical expertise that can be leveraged to bring strategic ideas to fruition
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple concurrent projects some of which may include as part of a distributed team in a virtual environment
  • Ability to travel as needed (expected to be Additional, nice to have qualifications:
  • Relevant professional certification and/or advanced degree (PMP, CCMP, Lean Six Sigma, Master's Degree, MBA, CPA or other)
