    Summary:

    In this role, the Floor Technician is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of hard-surfaced floors, carpeting, walls, windows, stairwells, elevators, automatic door tracks, and baseboards, This is including but not limited to dust mopping, damp mopping, stripping, and refinishing, carpet extraction, carpet bonneting, spotting, and vacuuming in areas as required with emphasis on first impression areas throughout the facilities.

    The ideal candidate has previous experience in this area and can work independently.


    Job Description:
    Essential duties and responsibilitiesSweep and mop floors.
    Assist with stripping, buffing, and waxing surfaces.
    Clean or shampoo carpets.
    Inspect the surface area after the washing to ensure it is clear of dirt and debris.
    Clear the job site and store all hoses and equipment correctly.
    Follow all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury.
    Required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesAbility to comprehend simple instructions and effectively communicate with supervisors and other employees.
    Work independently.
    Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
    Previous experience operating high pressure washing systems is preferred.
    Minimum qualificationsMust be able to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
