- This position is remote/hybrid with some travel required; at the moment required travel is limited to a once-monthly all-day meeting, but this could expand to more in-person days during the term of the position
- Perform quality reviews of all Pre-Admission Screening & Resident Review (PASRR) MI Level II evals and issue clinical determinations identifying MI specialized services.
- This position will provide care coordination to Emergency Medical Services Facilities (EMS Facilities) when they are working with individuals on emergency mental health holds that may expire prior to finding appropriate placement for evaluation and treatment.
- May collaborate with the program manager for transitional support to ensure there is continuity of care and coordination.
- This position provides care coordination for individuals under 27-65 involuntary mental health treatment, and priority populations identified by the Behavioral Health Administration. The on-call rotation is limited to the 27-65 spectrum with a possible future need of short and long-term certifications.
- Quality review of PASRR.
- Provides knowledge and expertise regarding the processes of emergency mental health holds and certifications related to article 65.
- Providing coverage of the rotation in events the assigned clinician is not available in case of illness or family emergencies.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including the BHASOs, providers, EMS facilities, and other state and federal agencies. -
