Hardware-Development Engineer (m/f/d)


Location:
Fremont/USA as Expatriate

Your challenge

You will work as Expat for our German Legal Entity in our Delta side in Fremont/USA
Determination and evaluation of new technologies for our power supply products with focus on power electronic circuit technology and digital control technology, aiming maximized efficiency and power density while - at the same time - meeting cost targets
Handling of high-level development projects
Design, simulation, lab testing and type evaluation of electronic circuits
Development and dimensioning of power electronic conversion stages
Execution and management of innovation projects from specification to verification and product launch
Creation of technical reports, articles and customer presentations for acquisition support

Your profile

Completed degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor or Master) with an emphasis on power electronics / power engineering
Proven experience in the area of standard power supply systems
Detailed design experience of switch mode power conversion technologies regarding topologies, circuit operation, design methodologies, digital control and measurement
Very good knowledge in using different DSP/μC-Platforms and simulation Tools like Matlab/Simulink, PLECS or equivalent toolsC
Knowledge of SAP, CAE/CAD helpful
Very good command of written and spoken English
Talent for organization, creativity, working under pressure
Willingness to travel
