- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure they meet job requirements and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment activities and continuously improve sourcing and selection strategies.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter, preferably within the mining or heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of mining operations and related roles, including technical positions such as engineers, geologists, and equipment operators.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively source and attract candidates using a variety of methods and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
