    Job Description

    Job DescriptionStart Date: 05/20/24 to 08/17/24
    Shifts: 7:00AM - 3:00PM
    Contract Weeks: 13
    Guarantee: 40 hrs
    Gross Weekly Pay: up to $1,000.00
    • Assists physicians and nurses to meet health care needs of patients.
    • Takes vital signs, height, and weight.
    • Draws blood.
    • Measures and records intake and output.
    • Assists with patient treatments such as dressing changes, decubitus ulcer, and tracheostomy care.
    • Schedules appointments
    • Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills.
    • Follows security regulations for keys, sharp, and controlled medications.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.
    • Follows standard precautions using PPE as required.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Ability to respond in emergency situations.
    • Provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient's and family's diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity, and rights.
    • Serve and protect the facility by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements.

    Requirements
    • Current CNA License certification with the Maryland State Board of Nursing
    • At least 1-2 years of CNA experience
    • Must have corrections experience, experience working in substance abuse preferred. Position has escalated compliance - position is for the Opioid treatment program
    • Active CPR/BLS certification
    • Physical, vaccination status, and PPD/chest- x-ray
    • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
    • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements
