    The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

    BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including:
    Senior and Lead level Project Engineers


    Position Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers
    • Develop statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements
    • Work with customers and management to obtain approval
    • Respond to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
    • Lead project execution to complete the work statement
    • Identify performance metrics
    • Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program
    • Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
    • Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
    • Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
    • Work under minimal direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, Production Manager, and/or Test and Evaluation Leadership Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5+ years of experience executing tests using environmental chambers, shock, vibration, and acceleration/centrifuge
    • Successfully completed an MBA program or are currently enrolled in a MBA program Typical Education/Experience: Senior (Level 4) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Lead (Level 5) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Relocation:

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary pay range for senior level:
    $122,400 - $165,600 Summary pay range for lead level: $150,450 - $203,550 Applications for this position will be accepted through May 15, 2024.
