    Summary:

    The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements ordelegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions inaccordance with established philosophy, providing and directingpatient care for a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN)relates effectively with other shifts/departments for optimalcontinuity of care. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinicalsupervision for entry level nurses and assists in theirdevelopment.

    CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – SanMarcos, which originated in 1923 as Hays County Soldiers, Sailorsand Marines Memorial Hospital, opened at its current Wonder WorldDrive location in 1983. Our staff of more than 700 Associates workswith more than 300 active and consulting physicians to providequality services to patients and their families. For more than 20consecutive years, we have been named The Best Hospital in HaysCounty in the annual "Best of Hays" publication released by the SanMarcos Daily Record. In addition to interventional cardiacservices, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos is a CertifiedChest Pain Center and an accredited Primary Stroke Center. We leadthe region in da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery and offers avariety of specialty care services including medical imaging,rehabilitation, hospice, women's services and more.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing,preferred.
    • 1 year of experience in the relatednursing specialty preferred.

    • RN License in state of employment orcompact
