    Elementary Grade Band Teacher and Paraprofessional Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated teacher and paraprofessional to staff our new Elementary (K-2) Grade Band classroom at Our World School, a private K12 school serving special needs students in McDonough. With a growing waitlist, this expansion will enable us to provide high-quality education to more students.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
    • Create engaging lesson plans and activities to cater to diverse learning styles.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

    Requirements:

    The minimum educational requirement for this role is a High School Diploma or GED. However, we prefer candidates who have the potential to advance to a teacher position in the future, holding a bachelor's degree and at least 6 credit hours of education courses.

    Salary:

    $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
