    Description
    We are a healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical care and rehabilitation to our 600,000+ service area. You'll have excellent access to specialists as the main hospital in the community is very close.
    We are seeking a motivated and dedicated PM&R physician to join our team as Medical Director. This position offers the flexibility to work as an independent contractor or as an employed physician. Candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates, are encouraged to apply.

    We are willing to provide support and mentorship to help teach the medical director responsibilities depending on the structure and assistance available within the hospital.

    Serve as the Medical Director of the PM&R department, overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.
    Mentor and supervise medical staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
    Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
    Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
    Active medical license in the state of Florida.
    Willingness to learn and take on the responsibilities of a medical director.
    Choose between independent contractor or employed status, with mentorship available for medical directorship.
