Position Overview:
The Information Security Architect position will be a hands-on role covering all security aspects supporting the Blue Yonder offerings. In addition, this is a thought leadership position responsible for building and enhancing the security maturity of the organization.

High level responsibilities include identifying security improvement opportunities by assessing the current architecture; evaluating trends; development and implementation of security enhancements and interacting with our customers.

In addition, this position will collaborate with Cloud Operations teams and IT organization to build security best practices in our infrastructure.

As an Information Security Architect, this professional will be responsible for securing both On-Premise and Cloud computing environments

Their responsibilities would include:
Designing and implementing cloud

security strategies and policies that meet the organization's specific needs.
Ensuring the security of cloud-based data and applications against unauthorized access, theft, and other threats.

Collaborating with other professionals, including network engineers, developers, and system administrators, to integrate cloud Infrastructure and Security measures into existing systems and processes.

Staying up-to-date on the latest cloud Infrastructure security technologies, trends, and best practices.

Familiarity with Infrastructure security tools such as - WAF, IDS/IPS, Firewall Management, DDoS Prevention, Network Detection & Monitoring, Identity Governance & Administration, Privilege Access Management, Secrets Storage, etc.

Implementing Security architecture and controls for Blue Yonder's Generative AI, Machine Learning and LLM Security initiatives

Strong understanding of the following Technologies:
Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) Protection
Web Application Firewall Tuning
Firewall security management
Network intrusion Prevention and Detection (NIDR/ NIPS)
Cyber deception technology (Honey Pots, Traps and Decoys, etc.)
DNS Security
IAM (Identity and Access Management), Identity Governance and Access Management (IGA – Sailpoint, Savyint, etc.)
Willingness to learn LLM security and Generative AI security
SASE – CASB, Zero trust implementation in cloud native architecture

Requirements:
To be considered for an Information Security Architect position, you typically need:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

At least 8 to 10 years of cloud and Infrastructure security experience, focusing on designing and implementing secure Public and Private cloud computing solutions.

A strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Familiarity with cloud security platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
IAM (Identity and Access Management), Identity Governance and Access Management (IGA – Sailpoint, Savyint, etc.)
Experience with network security, TCP/IP, network segmentation, SASE - Secure access service edge, ZTNA - Zero Trust Network Architecture

Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Architect (CCA) are preferred.

Develop and provide visibility of organizational KPIs and KRIs.
Scripting skills and knowledge of Python, Bash or other programming languages.
Interface with internal/external customers as needed. Participate in internal and external audits as required.

In addition to the above qualifications, a successful Security Architect should possess the following skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and tactically about complex cloud security issues.
Excellent communication skills, including communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with inter departmental organizations to champion enhancements of our service offerings and capabilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Flexibility to overlap shifts with other time zones.

The salary

range for this position is $132,950 - $167,650. This is an hybrid role for either our Scottsdale, AZ or Dallas, TX locations. The hired candidate should be local to one of those locations.
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.

In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
