    Day to Day:

    Insight Global is looking for Associate Test Engineers to join their client onsite in Milpitas for both Shift 1 and Shift 2 This opportunity is a 12 mo contract - Shift 1: 7am-3:30pm + OT / Shift 2: 4pm -12:30pm + OT. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis. This includes maintaining tool schedules and completing alignment processes as per defined test times. The work assignments are moderately complex in nature, requiring judgment in resolving problems. The candidate will also support tool progression priorities by testing and troubleshooting assemblies and/or final systems. As required, they will prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. Additional responsibilities include maintaining test tooling and managing the sending/receiving of tooling to complete daily work activities, which may involve third-party calibration. The candidate will perform the build, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at a system level. They will determine and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. They will also test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems and may complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Additionally, they will prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. They may also assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. If this sounds like you, please don't hesitate to apply today

    Must Haves:

    • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
    • Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems.
    • Ability to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of testing and measuring instruments.
    • Performs the build, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at a system level.
    • Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
    • Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
    • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
    • An AA degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required.
