    As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of residential interior projects in Manhattan.     Our client is a general contractor specializing in high-end residential construction projects in Manhattan. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering exquisite results, we are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team.

    Description

    • Manage day-to-day operations of residential construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to address concerns and facilitate decision-making.
    • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
    • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process in a timely and efficient manner.

    Profile

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential construction, with a background in managing projects in Manhattan is preferred
    • Proven track record of successfully completing residential construction projects on time and within budget.
    • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required
    • Started their career in the trades is preferred.
