    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver clear and compelling competitive intelligence globally across the organization
    • Create, update, and manage a concise set of competitive and market intelligence capabilities, including governance, enablement, and communication
    • Enable sales and wider GTM teams to effectively understand competitors and articulate the value of Coupa vs key competitors
    • Develop compelling competitive presentations at internal events (live and virtual)
    • Monitor market trends and changes in the competitive landscape by working closely with GTM teams, analyst relations, our data team, and senior management
    • Partner with product management to provide competitive insights to help shape product roadmap in-line with competitive developments
    • Spend time in the field with customers and prospects to support deals and better understand market needs
    • Educate and work with regional teams to ensure Coupa's market position is optimally represented across marketing activity

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of work experience, including 2+ in product marketing (or technical/product management) with proven success in driving competitive or market intelligence activity
    • Experience in competitive or market intelligence within B2B enterprise software
    • Knowledge or experience working within the procurement and/or finance industry - preferred but not compulsory
    • Independent, proactive thinker who is naturally curious – able to simplify the complex
    • Must be able to switch regularly and rapidly between strategy and execution
    • Ability to gather intelligence from quantitative and qualitative data, present findings and insights, whilst influencing senior and executive stakeholders
    • Ability to work across organizations lines, command respect and influence without authority
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Bachelor's degree minimum required
