- Room patients, assess patient's general condition, take vital signs and weight.
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
- Draw blood.
- Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
- Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
- One-year clinical experience preferred, but not required.

- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal

UPMC's Rodney Road Primary Care in York, PA is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse to their office.
This is a large office, with 22 exam rooms and 8 providers, that will keep you moving and get to use your skills.
The office culture is very warm and welcoming, a team first environment, with patient centered providers.HOURS:
Monday-Friday dayshift, 40-hour week only. Various shifts during office hours of; Monday 8am-9pm, Tuesday 7am-9pm, Wednesday 7am-9pm, Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 7am-5pm. NO WEEKENDS. NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS. NO ON-CALL
