    Job Title: Construction Estimator

    Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join our team a, a leading civil general contractor specializing in earthwork, utilities, bridges, concrete, and asphalt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field experience

    5-10 years of proven experience in construction estimating

    Proficiency in B2W cost estimation software, Agtek, and various Microsoft tools

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents

    Knowledge of civil construction materials, methods, and practices

    Understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Responsibilities:

    Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to identify project requirements

    Identify risks in estimates and develop solutions

    Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop accurate estimates and proposals

    Utilize B2W software and tools to develop bid estimates and manage cost estimates

    Conduct site visits and inspections to gather project information

    Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers

    Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

    Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and proposals to clients

    Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as needed

    Benefits:

    Competitive annual salary: $130,000 - $170,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
