    Job Responsibilities:
    Under general supervision, performs the tests ordered in the specific laboratory section(s) as assigned. Sections include chemistry, hematology, transfusion service, and microbiology. Access to coordinator or other professional personnel is required. May assist CLA's and another technical team.

    Other duties assigned QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

    The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills.

    Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current Medical Lab Technican experience.

    Graduate from a fully accredited Medical Lab Tech program Active unencumbered Medical Lab Technician Colorado state license One year of Epic experience Associate's degree in Lab Science is required.

    Current MLT (ASCP) required. Credentialing through the Proficiency Examination administered under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (formerly Health, Education, and Welfare). Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

    Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

    A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

    Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
