This clinical area cares for patients with illnesses such as sepsis, COPD, renal failure, pneumonia and congestive heart failure.The Clinical Supervisor works collaboratively with their immediate Supervisor and/or appropriate Chain of Command and hospital departments in supporting operations and patient throughput.
The Clinical Supervisor serves as a positive role model and sets the professional tone for their area.The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and management in the areas of customer satisfaction, provision of safe and effective care, human resources, communication, patient advocacy, performance improvement and leadership/professional development.
Clinical Supervisor Position Requirements Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse.Must hold a license in the state of permanent residencyBachelor's Degree in Nursing is required or in pursuit within 6 months of accepting positionThree years of clinical nursing experience, with 1-2 years of leadership experience preferredAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) requiredClinical Supervisor Work ScheduleExempt positionVariable shifts depending on the needs of the departmentWork shifts include clinical and administrative timeClinical Supervisor BenefitsAt TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
