- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
- Accurately count and package medications.
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of medications.
- Process insurance claims and assist customers with insurance inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and restock pharmacy shelves.
- Follow all safety and quality assurance procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in pharmaceutical regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Pharmacy Technician certification and/or national certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and computer systems.
