Job Description

As a Security Officer - DoD Security Clearance Patrol in Uniondale, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $22.35 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.

Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives as needed.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site policies.

Document incidents and daily activities as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
