We are looking to train the right person to become a residential HVAC service technician. You will start out as an apprentice doing system tune-ups while you learn the trade. This is an apprentice program with staged increases while you learn.

This is a customer-facing, residential service role where you'll meet the customer in their home, complete the necessary repairs or maintenance, and talk with them about recommended solutions.

Your Responsibilities as an HVAC Service Technician

• As an HVAC Service Technician, you are vital in taking care of our clients by providing them with the highest-quality service and maintenance of their home's HVAC systems.
• Deliver World-Class Service – Deliver an amazing experience for our customers.
• Troubleshoot and Provide System Maintenance – Consult with clients regarding their heating and air conditioning systems, understand their concerns, and then provide diagnose and perform repairs to correctly fix their issue.
• Advise on System Upgrades, Improvements, and Available Service Plans
• Help customers uncover additional opportunities and needs related to their home comfort and air quality while offering your expert recommendation for the best solution.

Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

• Experience in residential HVAC is a plus but not a requirement if you have other mechanical experience such as a handyman, plumber, carpenter, electrician, auto mechanic, appliance repair or apartment maintenance. Any mechanical experience will be considered when applying for this position.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 60-80 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and office team
• Professional well groomed appearance.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to make the customer smile while handing them the invoice :)
• Heights and confined tight spaces are not a problem.
• Summer heat and humidity in hot attics and crawlspaces are also not a problem.

What will you make:
The pay range for this position is $14.00 to $16.00 per hour to start.

(depending on your experience and knowledge in HVAC) then you will receive staged increases putting you at $20.00 by the end of the first year as long as you are following the training program and making considerable progress.
