- Assist dentist in patient care efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and medical history through electronic systems.
- Ensure integrity of all documentation.
- Update patient odontogram during each visit.
- Manage patient flow and optimize dental schedules.
- Maintain and clean medical equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles used for facility visits.
- Monitor dental supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Expos and process dental radiographs to assist in diagnosis.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
- Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
- Effective communication with patients, family, and staff.
- Comply with all compliance program components.
- Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
- Adapt to changes and perform assigned duties.
- High School education or GED.
- Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation with good driving record and insurance.
- Completed Tuberculosis (TB) test and Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
- State radiation license or certificate required.
- Good computer skills and medical terminology knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and prioritize patient needs.
