    Description

    Infosys is in need of a Senior Azure Kafka Consultant with experience in L2 support and development. As a Senior Azure Kafka Consultant, you will provide advanced technical support, address complex issues escalated from L1 support or end-users directly. This role involves in-depth troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing solutions with a focus on timely resolution of service requests. Collaboration with L1 Support and specialized teams is key. The role demands a deep understanding of various technologies and configurations, fostering a learning culture that values teamwork, collaboration, excellence, and diversity.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant IT experience
    • U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US
    • Location: Atlanta, GA (Travel may be required)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of L2 operational support and development experience
    • Knowledge of Azure infrastructure, services, and management tools
    • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Splunk, and Azure Monitoring
    • Skilled in incident handling, including root cause analysis and resolution
    • Networking concepts understanding for troubleshooting connectivity
    • Security best practices knowledge for messaging services
    • Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting
    • Experience with Azure DevOps, Apache Airflow, or Ansible
    • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Application support expertise in messaging services like Kafka, JMS, MQ
    • Proficiency in Azure Event Hub
