    The Project Manager is responsible to lead the Ultra High Purity (UHP) New Product Development Program and all related Customer projects related to UHP for the Drains and Valves product line.

    Under the direction of Drains Platform Leader, the project manager will work cross-functionally to execute and deliver NPD projects on time, within budget, with adherence to the commercial specification.

    Additionally, the project manager will work cross-functionally to manage all aspects of customer projects related to UHP.


    The Project Manager is also responsible for day-to-day management of a customer relations team, including but not limited to managing UHP customer projects - Quote fulfillment, proper customer order placement, customer order tracking, proactive updates to all interested parties, and customer fulfillment.


    The project manager will implement project management tools, dashboards, and metrics to establish a Project Management Office to successfully facilitate the delivery of the UHP project portfolio within the Drains business unit of Watts Water Technologies, Inc.


    The Project Manager will be responsible for defining, modifying, and creating processes across Commercial Operations, Order Entry, Sourcing, Planning, Supply Chain, Shipping, and post shipment management of all Mega Project Orders.

    Products will include Valves and Drains product.

    The Watts Water Technologies family of companies designs and manufactures valves and drains and related products that promote the comfort and safety of people and the quality, conservation and control of water used in commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal applications.

    You Will:

    UHP Project Management:
    Own and lead all new product development efforts utilizing the Stage Gate process from concept to post-launch
    Ensure key stakeholders and team members follow a structured and repeatable process from ideation, business case/commercial specification and engineering/production validation, to market launch and post-launch close out
    Lead the creation of the project plan with required budget, resources, and detailed project schedule while defining critical milestones and align with Stage Gate deliverables
    Ensure project scope, schedule, and required resources are clearly defined and aligned across all stakeholders

    Develop resource plan to meet project timeline, partner with functional managers to allocate required resources to achieve milestones on time.

    Identify project risks/issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate impact on schedule or scope throughout project lifecycle
    Facilitate and share lessons learned to ensure proliferation of knowledge and best practice implementation across the organization

    Mega Project Customer Project Management:


    Identify, create, monitor and own the process required to support Mega Project Customer Orders across the entire Order to Remittance (OTR) lifecycle.

    Manage Customer Service team to accurately support the needs of customers and order fulfillment.

    Work across all functions involved in the product life cycle to implement Critical Process Indicators and identify areas for improvement.

    Work with all stakeholders to define key milestones for each Mega Project Customer project.
    Establish metrics to identify and monitor key milestones and report out to key stakeholders.
    Ensure all customer deliverables are being met, including but not limited to shipping requirements, shipment method, shipping site, packaging requirements, labelling requirements, and any other requirements as defined by the customer

    You Have:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
    5+ years of experience l Program/Project Management experience - Electrical, Mechanical and Software engineering preferred
    3+ years people management Experience
    Proven track record in managing new product development, introduction and product life cycle
    Proficient with Project Management Office tools - WBS, Logic Network, Gantt Chart, Agile methodology
    Intermediate experience with Project and Visio.
    Discuss both commercial and technical aspects of a project to all stakeholders, including executive level communication
    Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of product development, project management and can lead teams in execution of these methodologies
    Broad professional experience in product development, operations, sales, engineering and marketing areas
    Portfolio, Schedule and Resource Management tools experience
    Ability to travel - up to 25%
