    Job Title: Education Specialist

    The Education Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's goals through educator, performance consultant, and leader collaboration with Hospital, Center, and community members.

    This position requires leadership and direction to support high-performing staff through educational activities tailored to nursing organization needs.

    The ideal candidate possesses Pediatric nursing experience; however, candidates without pediatric background may still be considered.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead in designing systems for staff involvement in practice, research, education, and quality decisions

    • Promote a collaborative environment where nurses work at their highest licensure level

    • Participate in orientation and continuing education program design, development, and implementation for individuals and groups within the nursing organization

    • Evaluate educational outcomes and link them to quality processes and patient care outcomes

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree (Nursing preferred)

    • Board Certification in relevant specialty preferred

    • A Master's Degree in Social Work with State licensure or equivalent from an accredited institution required

    • 3-5 years of direct critical care experience preferred

    • BLS Certification

    • Demonstrated clinical competency in a nursing or allied health specialty

    • Ability to create collegial relationships internally and externally

    • Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills
