    Description
    Schuyler Hospital is looking to hire a Full Time Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist position is a professional position encompassing assessment of patient's physical, psychological, emotional, educational and spiritual needs.

    The therapist will be responsible for physical therapy evaluation and treatment in accordance with physician referral or through direct access per NYS guidelines.

    Other responsibilities include instructing and educating physical therapy students, the community and supervising physical therapist assistants.

    The therapist will be highly motivated to continue development of clinical skills and remain current with research in the field.

    The therapist will effectively provide person centered care and services.


    Requirements:

    Education:
    Successful completion of accredited physical therapy program including Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate level program


    Experience:

    Preferred, not required Licensure:
    NYS licensure Physical


    Requirements:
    Ability to lift and move patients with assistance. Ability to provide manual therapy to patients including joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization.
