    Contract Opportunity: Full-Time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the School Year

    Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote (Virtual) Start Date: August 9, 2024 Duration: Full-time for the school year

    Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position for the school year. This opportunity is open to remote candidates who are interested in providing services to K-12 students district-wide. The selected SLP will be responsible for consultations, assessments, and testing, with a focus on supporting the communication needs of students across various grade levels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct virtual consultations with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills.
    • Administer assessments and testing to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
    • Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using teletherapy platforms.
    • Collaborate with educational staff and parents to facilitate student progress and achievement.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure to practice as an SLP.
    • Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
    • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Comfortable using teletherapy platforms for virtual service delivery.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
