    We are looking for a Structural Engineer to support our North American Region team.
    Responsibilities

    In coordination with the head of Structural Engineering, assigns tasks and coordinate the work of engineers, designers, and administrative staff.

    Prepare quality project documentation, and review design/drawing from vendors,

    Perform static and dynamic analysis of super/substructures for structure-supporting equipment like Conveyors, Crushers, Screens... etc. based on equipment load data and mechanical inputs

    Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders for delivering structural designs,

    Prepare scope statements, discipline schedules and budgets for projects.

    Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of engineering work and provides on-site engineering field direction as required.

    Effectively manages project scope and project change according to company procedure.

    Manages engineering progress and productivity for individual tasks and simple projects and implements corrective actions.

    Prepares project

    documents/deliverables

    and

    is accountable for the on-time and accurate delivery of calculations and contract documents.

    Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.

    Identifies design/engineering problems and formulates solutions

    .

    Provides relevant comments during interdisciplinary drawing reviews, technical assistance, and coordinates with other project disciplines.

    Provides basic costing criteria including quantities and man-hours within their field.

    Acts as the responsible engineer for the procurement of complex engineered components/packages.

    Understands project construction methods/sequences and may act as Field Engineer.

    Understands and implements connection designs for structural members.

    Highly productive at using structural software, creating calculations, and communicating engineering to design staff and other engineers.

    What you bring
    BS or MS in Engineering with emphasis on structural steel and concrete design. Other disciplines may be considered based on work experience.

    5 years minimum as a structural engineer or similar working in the mining industry on conveyors, crushers, etc.

    Structural engineering experience in the power, petrochemical, heavy industrial, Bulk material handling industry is preferred. Additional industries may be considered based on experience gained.

    Proficient in structural design, analysis & design software like StaadPro/ RS tab / SAP etc.,

    Experienced in coordination and handling potential 3rd party vendors for managing surge workloads situations in the team,

    Experienced in international design codes,

    Knowledge in 3D tools like, Tekla / Advance steel, and Navisworks is desirable,


    Position is based in Denver with possible travel inherent to project responsibilities (FLS subsidiaries, vendor/supplier facilities, detailer's shops or project sites).

    Base compensation range $110,000 - $160,000
