    The Position:

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a passion for candidate experience to join our team. In this role, you will lead our efforts to attract and recruit amazing legal professionals while championing inclusive hiring practices and continuing to help us to enrich our amazing, people-first culture.

    We offer lots of flexibility in our work schedules and work either fully remote from home or in-office or hybrid in our Troy, MI or Ann Arbor, MI office.

    What you will be doing:

    Talent Acquisition Strategy:

    • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans aligned with organizational objectives for hiring of Attorneys, Case Managers, and other roles at the firm
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies and workforce planning initiatives

    Full-cycle Recruitment:

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates
    • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract diverse candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and community partnerships
    • Develop new and improve upon existing recruitment processes
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
    • Provide training and resources to hiring managers and interviewers on efforts to eliminate bias in the hiring process

    Employer Branding and Outreach:

    • Enhance the employer brand through recruitment marketing strategies highlighting our culture of inclusion and belonging and other elements of our culture
    • Represent the organization at industry events, job fairs, and networking forums

    Talent Acquisition Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Utilize analytics and reporting tools to track recruitment metrics and talent trends
    • Prepare periodic reports and presentations for management on talent acquisition activities
    • Update senior leadership on our effectiveness of diversity hiring strategies

    Partnerships and Community Engagement:

    • Cultivate partnerships with external organizations and institutions to support talent acquisition initiatives and expand outreach efforts
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition

    What skills and experience you will bring with you:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • Proven experience (7+ years) in talent acquisition. Experience recruiting in the professional services field (or law firm) is preferred but not required
    • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws, and best practices in inclusive recruitment.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to align talent acquisition with business goals
    • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
    • Proven track record of building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
