_*SUMMARY*_We are currently seeking a*Staff Nurse*to join ourNewborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
*This position is a 0.75 FTE (5 shifts/ pay period), 12-hour shifts, Day/Night and Every Third Weekend.
The Newborn Intensive Care Unit is a 21 bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit that provides care to neonates who requiring medical care beyond that which is considered normal newborn care.
Services are provided to neonates by our multi-disciplinary health care team, which consists of Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Support Staff, Social Workers, Occupational, Physical, respiratory and Speech therapists, and Public Health Nurses, along with any other services needed to meet the family's needs.
_*RESPONSIBILITIES*_Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
