    Job Details:
    The Division of Neurosurgery at Dayton Children's Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Division.

    The APP, a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will have advanced education and professional training, specializing in the care of patients from birth to 21 years of age.

    The APP will practice in in collaboration with the neurosurgeons, and in accordance with established protocols, to provide cost- effective, quality care that is individualized and developmentally appropriate.

    The APP will be expected to function in the outpatient, inpatient, and perioperative settings and will perform physical assessments/examinations; develop diagnoses; formulate, initiate, and reinforces plans of care and/or treatments for resolution of the clinical problems) or to maintain health.

    The APP will monitor and evaluate the plan of care, and will make revisions as needed, or initiate consultations/ referrals when appropriate.

    *Position can be PA or NP
