Summary:
A highly respected Houston-based investment firm is seeking a Corporate Analyst to support corporate accounting, fund operations, and financial reporting across a multi-entity platform.
Ideal candidates bring strong academic credentials and early career experience in public accounting, fund accounting, or financial services, and are seeking a high-growth environment with meaningful ownership and long-term advancement potential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare internal reporting packages, variance analysis, and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with fund-related accounting activities, including cash movements, investor reporting, and performance tracking
- Partner with audit, tax, and fund administration teams to support financial reporting and compliance
- Support executive leadership with financial analysis, operational reporting, and strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and financial processes
- Support monthly close through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong academic performance
- 1–3 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or comparable training environment), fund accounting, or financial services
- CPA license or active CPA-track strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems
- Demonstrated analytical ability, attention to detail, and desire to operate in a high-performance investment environment
