    Family Practice physician employment in Alaska :

    Seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine physician to join a team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. In this role, you will work closely with advanced practice clinicians in a team-based care model that also includes social workers, nurse case management and clinical pharmacists. Behavioral health is embedded in the clinic as well, with a Psychiatric nurse practitioner and Psychologist available to patients and to provide support for Primary Care teams.     • Limited call duties, approximately once every two months with minimal volume
    • Market-leading compensation and comprehensive benefit package is offered

    • One to three years of experience in Family Medicine is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
    • Ideal candidate will be flexible and eager to work as a part of a team in a patient-centered medical home
    • Current patient panel is pediatrics and up

    With 401 beds, more than 1,100 nurses and more than 800 doctors, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the largest and most comprehensive hospital in the state and the only one with a dedicated Childrens Hospital. A nationally recognized Level II trauma center, this hospital features heart and cancer centers, Alaskas largest emergency department with LifeMed Alaska air ambulance transport, full diagnostic, rehabilitation and surgical services, and inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse recovery services for adults and children.
