    Unit Specifics:

    • Number of Beds : 40
    • Patient Ratios : 1:1-1:4
    • Unit staffing description: 24hr Unit Secretary Coverage, 24hr MD coverage
    • Type of equipment : Primarily Jet based HFV, NAVA ventilators,
    • Documentation system: CPN primary Meditech secondary
    • Scheduling requirements: 7P-7A, 3 12 hour shifts, every other weekend
    • Floating policy: Float to Womens Hospital Units (Peds >1yrs, Newborn Nursery, Tech for Ante or Postpartum)Hospital Specifics-
    • Certifications: CPR, NRPHiring profile Must have: Neonatal Phlebotomy, Experience in a level 3 NICU or greater Advanced skills needed: Mechanical Ventilation including High Frequency Ventilators (Jet or Oscillator) minimum of 3 years, Neonatal Surgical Recovery preferred Procedures performed on unit: Circumcision PDA Ligation Chest tube placement ROP Total Body Cooling
