MAV Event Services, the premiere event services company in the region, is seeking passionate, experienced, and seasoned professionals to join our event services team. As a MAV Event Services team member, you will serve as event security specialists, crowd managers, and customer service ambassadors at the Western Idaho Fair. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring

general public safety and report any suspicious happenings and/or negative behavior to MAV supervisory staff.

We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Security and Event Services Staff for the Western Idaho Fair, which will take place from August 16-25, 2024, at Expo Idaho. The MAV Event Services team will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all attendees, enforcing alcohol regulations, screening all individuals entering the fairgrounds, and protecting assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide security and safety for all attendees at the Western Idaho Fair

Conduct entry screening of all individuals entering the fairgrounds

Enforce alcohol regulations and ensure that all individuals consuming alcohol are of legal age

Provide overnight security to protect assets and ensure the safety of the fairgrounds

Respond to any incidents or emergencies and take appropriate action

MAV Event Services deploys staff and teams to concerts, sporting events, conventions, fairs, community events, private events, construction site asset protection, overnight security, traffic and parking details, and much more.

MAV Event Services team members must meet the following general qualifications:

• Previous event security and crowd management experience a plus

• Must have reliable transportation
• Smart phone preferred to have access to tools and resources
• Full background check conducted. Any FELONY will disqualify applicant.

General position specifics:

• $15 per hour to start DOE, paid bi-weekly (Fridays) via DIRECT DEPOSIT
• 25 cents per hour raise for every 100 hours worked up to $18 per hour
• Hours/Days/Shifts vary and are very flexible

• We work 365 days a year 24/7. We have a variety of shifts daily and weekly.
• Must wear ALL BLACK (shoes, socks, pants/shorts, undershirt). MAV will supply event shirts, coats, or vests for each detail. Professional attire ONLY.
• MUST pass thorough background check and have NO FELONIES.
• Position is located in Boise, Idaho and will support surrounding areas.
