The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic Financial Analyst to complement our experienced workforce. This position is located at the Corporate Headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position is responsible for activities that include gathering and organizing financial data, analyzing historical results, assisting with forecasts and projects, and applying appropriate accounting principles to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Revenue and expense analysis
• Analyzing financial results and activity for trends and corrective action
• Review assigned monthly account reconciliation schedules
• Forecast and budget preparation
• Development of actions to improve profitability and processes
• Assist with responding to requests related to audits
• Serve as backup for various accounting functions
• Other similar duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required with major in Accounting or Finance with an Accounting emphasis
• Experience: 5-7 years in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment required
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and principles of finance
• Construction accounting experience a plus
• Intermediate skills with ERP - Viewpoint a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products - Intermediate level required
