- Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks.
- Collect requirements, analyze solution, and create recommendation and track Agile stories.
- Work collaboratively with the other Operations engineering team to create and deploy automation solutions for Cisco, MFNA, ServiceNow and other distributed data center technologies.
- Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support.
- Provide technical documentation, procedures, and technical support to Ops concerning automation solution usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments for identified infrastructure.
- Update system documentation, diagrams and Standard Operation Procedures as needed.
- BS and 5 years of experience; MS and 3 years of experience; May accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower (Experience with Ansible strongly preferred, however open to other DevOps tools experience).
- Experience with Windows Active Directory.
- Strong experience coding and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Batch files, etc.).
- Strong experience with RHEL 6 or RHEL 7, Windows 2016 / 2020 System / Server Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Source Code Control Systems (Git).
- Experience leading system integration projects as the technical lead.
- Experience working with customers to capture/document requirements.
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Strong background in VMWare administration.
- Knowledge of VMWare Integrated Openstack or Openstack.
- Cloud technologies with an emphasis on Azure services.
- LAN/WAN networking experience.

This position is in support of the Department of State (DOS) as a part of the Vanguard 2.2.1 contract. The candidate will be responsible for the development of automation solutions utilizing Ansible Automation Platform and RedHat . The candidate will work as part of a team automating data center infrastructure and operations problems.
The position currently allows hybrid remote work. Position may be called back onsite at any time at the customer's request.
