Position Summary
The University at Buffalo's Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a dynamic and innovative hub of research and academic excellence. We are looking for a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team in the Core Instrument Facility. Candidates must have a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, and experience with analytical instruments maintenance.
Job Duties Include:
- Assisting with managing and coordinating the open access LCMS Core Facility within the department
- Coordinating the open access core instrumentation within the facility
- General facility upkeep and maintenance and assisting with administrative management
- Instructing in portions of courses involving analytical techniques

Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- Previous experience with analytical instruments in an academic environment
Physical Demands
Salary Range $75,000 - $85,000
Additional Salary Information
The salary range is an estimate based on role, responsibilities, experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
