    Automotive Sales Professional

    We are seeking a seasoned professional or a candidate looking to join the dealership world to expand our sales force in Greenwood, Indiana. At Lockhart Cadillac, we value relationships and want to develop our relationship with clients and employees.

    We offer a very aggressive pay plan with potential to earn $100,000+.

    Job Summary:

    • This position is responsible for assisting and guiding our clients in the purchase of their new vehicle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Approach: Approaches, greets, and offers assistance to any client who enters the showroom or sales lot.
    • Vehicle Selection: Assists clients in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
    • Ethical Conduct: Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
    • Product Knowledge: Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.
    • Sales Performance: Sells and delivers a minimum number of vehicles per month.
    • Client Satisfaction: Exhibits high level of commitment to client satisfaction.
    • Vehicle Delivery: Delivers vehicles to clients, ensuring that the client understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
    • Personal Income Goals: Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals.

    Requirements:

    • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills.
    • Written Communication: Excellent written communication skills.
    • Passion for Automobiles: Drive to excel with a passion for automobiles.
    • GM or Luxury Car Experience: GM or luxury car experience preferred, but not required.
    • Energetic and Client Service Oriented: Energetic and client service oriented.
    • Automotive Terminology: Understanding of automotive terminology, including equity and values, with ability to converse with clients regarding it.
    • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Team Player: Team player.
