Location - This program rotates between Kennametal facilities (4 rotations over 2 years).
You will be assigned a location and Kennametal provides relocation assistance to help you get settled near your assignment location.

EMERGE, Kennametal's early-career leadership development program, is focused on creating emerging leaders within Kennametal through diverse experiences to expand their perspectives, develop functional expertise, and accelerate career development.
This immersive program is 2 years in duration with diverse functional rotations within Kennametal's IT, Finance, Operations and Commercial business tracks.
Participants must be willing to relocate or travel during the program.Post completion of the program, position placement will be into a role based on your strengths and interests, as well as business need at that time.

Participants within the Commercial Track have opportunities to rotate through Sales, Portfolio Management, Project Management, Marketing, Technology and Manufacturing.
Actively learn metal cutting and how our products deliver technical results to customers.
Understand how Kennametal generates revenue and helps us to uncover new channels for business growth.
Program Highlights
1-week on-site onboarding and assimilation including leadership series, philanthropic activities, introduction to professional development trainings and plant site visits as 1 EMERGE Cohort.
Extensive and rewarding rotations within functional tracks (most rotations will require both office and plant assignments).
Ongoing learning journey to enhance technical, professional and leadership acumen.
Program Eligibility
Completing final academic year in:
Business, Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain.
Thorough organization, facilitation, leadership, project management and communication skills.
Excellent critical thinking approach to problem solving.
Candidates with a minimum overall GPA of a 3.2 preferred.
