    Mccoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Product Support Technology Representative.

    About the Role

    The Product Support Technology Representative will leverage different technologies to drive customer satisfaction through proactive support and ongoing maintenance, service, and parts needs. In a specific geographic area of responsibility, the Representative will promote the McCoy Construction & Forestry product support business to increase customer satisfaction and drive profitability. The Representative will manage the product support process to preempt and resolve technical and parts issues impacting machine performance and uptime by leveraging the capabilities of the service and parts departments.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive support and ongoing maintenance, service, and parts needs
    • Promote the product support business within a specific geographic area
    • Resolve technical and parts issues impacting machine performance and uptime

    Education, Skills & Knowledge Required

    • Formal education or training in an Engineering/Technology/Marketing discipline or equivalent experience required
    • Degree in an Engineering/Technology/Marketing discipline or equivalent experience; minimum of 3 years related equipment experience and/or training required
    • Demonstrated sales and marketing skills, including expert understanding of principles and ability to apply information to complex situations
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%
    • Knowledge of industry, products, customers, markets, and competitors
    • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
