Job SummaryThe Patient Service Representative (PSR) works with the practice physicians, manager, and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient operations.

PSRs prepare for patient visits, triage practice calls, schedules patient appointments, and performs routine clerical tasks. The PSR acts as a practice ambassador contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy.


Qualifications:

Required:
High School Diploma or GEDRelevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience working managing multiple schedules, multiple phone lines and tasksPrevious medical receptionist experience or background in general officeDemonstrates a clear understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction and safetyStrong oral and written communications skillsAttention to accuracy and detailAble to multitask and work under pressureAbility to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferredMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-6pm Wednesday 8:30am-3pmPreferred:Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR)
