    Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO)

    Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO) is engaged in the evaluation, repair, and upgrade of our sustainment systems.


    What you'll get to do:
    Negotiate quotations and place compliant purchase orders for repair of returned units
    Function as liaison between company and suppliers, contact suppliers to ensure customer property and equipment are evaluated, repaired, and delivered on promised dates, determine when deliveries may be delayed and communicate to internal customers, maintain records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns and related matters, approve invoices
    Extract, monitor, analyze, and validate data information from multiple sources
    Develop engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution
    Manage supplier quality and performance to support customer turnaround times
    Report out on monthly metrics to leadership
    Support various DOD and commercial customers in a depot environment

    Basic Qualifications (Repair Buyer)

    Bachelor's degree plus 3 years, or Master's degree plus 1 year experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing or closely related field in a manufacturing environment
    Experience placing purchase orders and managing suppliers
    MRP/ERP business system experience
    Proficiency in MS Office suite with emphasis on strong Excel/data analysis skills
    U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
    Basic Qualifications (Principal Repair Buyer)

    Bachelor's degree plus 6 years, or Master's degree plus 4 years' experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing or closely related field in a manufacturing environment
    Experience placing purchase orders and managing suppliers
    MRP/ERP business system experience
    Proficiency in MS Office suite with emphasis on strong Excel/data analysis skills
    U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Degree in Supply Chain Management
    APICS/ASCM CPIM or IPM CPSM certification
    SAP experience, preferably in procurement modules
    Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, familiarity with terms and conditions, demonstrated negotiation experience
    Proficiency with Northrop Grumman tools related to function (GOLD, ISE/CADSTAR)

    Salary Range:
    $62,600 - $93,800

    Salary Range 2:
    $77,000 - $115,400


    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
