Job Description & Requirements
Staff Registered Nurse
***$3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for Part-Time RN's ***
Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures
Ensure patient's status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information gathered is documented. Notify physician of significant changes in status such as difficulties with detox, medical emergency or change in medical status regarding response to medications, etc.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR/ First Aid certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, CPI, within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
